Ohaus Next Generation Guardian™ 5000 Hotplate

These Ohaus Next Generation Guardian™ 5000 hotplates are designed for safety and versatility across research, academia and industrial settings. They offer several unique features that make the hotplates amongst the safest in the industry. Ohaus' signature SafetyHeat™ allows the user to adjust the Set Temperature upper limit of the Top Plate, SafetyHeat™ monitors the electronics and shuts off heating before an overtemperature condition occurs and the Run Dry Protection System shuts off heating and sounds alarms if a probe-controlled heating is running without the probe tip submersed in the heating medium. The Run Time Mode and optional Splash Shield provide increased safety while the SmartRate™ system accurately controls heating from ambient+5°C to 550°C.

Available individually or as a package (Kit-1) that contains a temperature probe and a probe holder kit.

Dimensions: The ceramic top plate measures 7" x 7” (17.8 x 17.8 cm) while the overall dimenstions are 4.8” h x 8.8”w x 12.2” d (12.2 x 22.3 x 30.9 cm). Net Weight 5.7 lb (2.6 kg).
