Product Description

The Ohaus Guardian™ 3000 series of hotplate stirrers is designed for economical heating and stirring in all laboratory settings. The SafetyHeat™ System is an industry-leading early detection system that uses two independent safety controls to continuously monitor the electronics and shut off heating before an over temperature condition occurs. The bright backlit LCD display includes easy-to-read temperature and speed settings, intuitive icons and a prominent hot top indicator lights up when the heater is above 40°C. The rugged metal housing has a spill resistant design for long life under harsh conditions. The smooth, chemical-resistant ceramic top makes for easy clean ups.

The hotplate provides stable temperature control from ambient+5°C to 500°C. The stirrer provides precise stirring (+/-2%) from 80 to 1600 rpm.

This hotplate stirrer features a 5.3” (13.5 cm) diameter round ceramic coated stainless steel top plate with a 15 L capacity. This unique design offers an optional base plate to hold sectional or uniblocks for multiple samples of vials and tests tubes at the same time.

Overall Dimensions: 4.0” h x 6.4”w x 10.4” d (10.1 x 16.3 x 26.4 cm). Net Weight: 5.5 lb (2.5 kg).
