Ohaus Pioneer™ Precision Balances

Product Description

These Ohaus Pioneer™ Precision Balances offer high accuracy and repeatability for essential weighing in laboratory, industrial and education settings at an economical price point. Capacities range from 160 g to 4,200 g and with readability from 0.001 g to 0.1 g. The 160, 320 and 520 capacity balances come standard with a glass draftshield that features a static removal (ESR) bar for convenient grounding. All models are available with Ohaus’ automatic internal InCal™ calibration system or with external calibration (PX.../E models).

Typical application modes include basic weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, animal weighing, formulation and density determination. Weigh displays include Gram, Milligrams, Kilogram, Newton, Pound, Ounce, Ounce Troy, Pennyweight, Grain and Carat.

Pioneer™ balances feature a metal base, plastic top housing, a removable stainless steel pan, an in-use cover, security bracket, calibration lock and are powered with an AC adaptor (included). Each unit features backlit liquid crystal display (LCD) with a second line display for additional information or guidance. Communication is via RS232 and USB Device (included); GLP/GMP data output with real-time clock.

Models with Draftshield: 12.2” h x 8.2” w x 12.6” d (309 x 209 x 321 mm). Net Weight 10 lb (4.5 kg).

Models without Draftshield: 3.9” h x 8.2” w x 12.6” d (98 x 209 x 321 mm). Net Weight 7.7 lb (3.5 kg).
