Ohaus Adventurer™ Precision Balances

Product Description

The Ohaus Adventurer™ Precision Balances are durable with a large weighing surface, space-saving draft shield design and full housing in-use cover making them ideal for laboratory, education and industrial environments. Capacities range from 220 g to 8,200 g with readability from 0.001 g to 0.1 g. Each unit features a 4.3” full-color VGA graphic display and icon-driven application software that features 9 unique application modes.

Models are available with Ohaus' signature InCal™ internal calibration system or with external calibration (model numbers AX.../E). NTEP Certified and Measurement Canada Approved models which meet the Class I or Class II accuracy requirements in accordance with NIST Handbook 44 and Canada’s Weights and Measures Regulations are also available (models numbers EX..N). Draft Shields are supplied standard for models with 1 mg (0.001 g) readability.

Typical application modes include weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, checkweighing, dynamic/animal weighing, totalization/statistics, formulation, density determination and display hold. Weigh displays include Gram, Milligrams, Newton, Ounce, Ounce Troy, Pennyweight, Grain and Carat. Certified models have display units of milligrams, grams, ounces, troy ounce, grain and dwt.

These balances have a metal base, ABS top housing, a 3.5" / 90 mm diameter stainless steel pan, glass draftshield with two piece top mounted side doors and sliding top door (for models with 0.001 g readability), illuminated up-front level indicator, integral weigh below hook and security bracket. They are powered with an AC adaptor (included). Communication is via RS232, USB Host, USB Device (included), GLP/GMP data output with real-time clock. The upgraded operating system provides a three level user management function that ensures data security and data traceability requirements.
