PTFE Stirrer Bearing w/ Standard Taper Joint, 10 mm

This grease-free PTFE stirrer bearing is designed for use in moderate vacuum applications. The bearing consists of a threaded glass adapter having the listed inner joint, a saddle o-ring, a body bushing with a compression and locking nut, and a precision PTFE inner bearing. The saddle o-ring provides only glass and PTFE contact with the reaction, while allowing for the vacuum tight seal. This design of the bearing permits replacement of the saddle o-ring at a fraction of the cost of the entire bearing.

Available in 5 different inner joint sizes: 24/40, 29/26, 29/42, 34/45 or 45/50.

NOTE: ONLY for use with CG-2078 OR CG-2079 precision ground and polished stirrer shafts.
