- Drying tubes, 75° with Single Joint, Rubber Stopper and Glass Inlet Tube
Product Description
The 75° angle on these drying tubes saves space in fume hoods where space is at a minimum and also helps prevent desiccant material from falling into your reaction mixture. This tube has a beaded rim on one end and a lower inner joint on the bottom. A #3 rubber stopper and glass inlet tube are included. Available with a 14/20, 19/22, or 24/40 joint.
In typical use, one places a small wad of glass wool into the flared portion of the tube, fills the tube with a desiccant such as calcium chloride, and then places the rubber stopper with glass inlet into the non-jointed end.
