Description

Type II safety cans have two openings: one for targeted pouring and one for easy filling. Thees Justrite Safety cans feature the patented AccuFlow™ system designed with a vented manifold and proportional flow-control Safe-Squeeze® trigger that provides for fast, smooth dispensing and glug-free liquid flow. An ergonomic lift lever opens the self-closing spout wide for easy filling. The flexible 9" (22.9 cm) long metal hose spout helps control the pour into small openings.

These cans with are made from 24-gauge galvanized steel coated with a tough powder-coat finish that resists chemicals and stands up to demands of rigorous use. A full-length stainless steel flame arrester dissipates heat to stop flashback and allows deeper, secure insertion of the nozzle when filling. The sealed lid features automatic positive-pressure relief that vents between 3 and 5 psig (0.2 and 0.35 bar) to protect against explosion. EACH can is pressure tested to ensure quality.

The cans have a large label ID zone which provides writing space to identify contents, department location, or individual user name. All can sizes have extra capacity for adding two-cycle engine oil or other additives.

Certified by FM, UL/ULC, and TÜV. Justrite safety cans also meet OSHA and NFPA requirements, come with a ten-year warranty and are made in the USA.

Available in four colors (red for gasoline or other flammable liquids, blue for kerosene, yellow for diesel, green for combustibles) and two hose diameters (1" and 5/8" outer diameters). Please contact us for the availability of other sizes (1,2 or 2.5 gallon).
