Ohaus AquaSearcher™ AP50MM Portable Photometer

Product Description

Ohaus's AquaSearcher™ AP50MM is a multifunction portable photometer that provides fast, reliable colorimetric and turbidity measurements of water samples. Its compact size makes it ideal for field applications. The AP50MM is equipped with a real-time dynamic display for each measurement and can record up to 30,000 datapoints with time and date stamp. Built-in calibration curves provide automatic selection of appropriate wavelengths. Pre-programed testing parameters can be stored for more efficient use. The large backlit display makes it easy to read real-time results.

Photometric measurements use a long lasting LED source with fixed wavelengths of 365.0, 420.0, 455.0, 525.0, 560.0, 570.0 and 630.0 nm (+/- 1.0 nm accuracy). The photometric measuring range is 0-1.0Abs with an accuracy of +/- 0.005 @1.0 Abs. Turbidity measurements use a nephelometric optical system (90° scattered light) with a white and IR LED excitation wavelength. The turbidity measuring range is 0-200 NTU with a 1 NTU detection limit and reproducibility. These methodologies are compliant with EPA method 180.1.
