This cylindrical style addition funnel has an adjustable-bore PTFE metering plug that permits the flow rate to be controlled from dropwise to full flow. The funnel is graduated with a double scale of numbers, one up from the stopcock and one down from the capacity line and has a pressure equalizing arm. The standard taper top outer joint and standard taper lower inner joint are both the same size. The overall height is identical to the corresponding CG-1700 model. Sizes 25 mL and below have a 2 mm bore stopcock, the 500 and 1,000 mL versions have a 4 mm bore. For similar item with a needle valve see CG-1714.
