Chromatography Columns, Fritted Disc, Reservoir, Standard Taper Joint

These general purpose columns can be used for gravity or flash chromatography. It has a Teflon® stopcock and a reservoir with a 24/40 standard taper top outer joint. The column is constructed using medium wall tubing for extra durability. It has a sealed COARSE porosity fritted disc to support the column packing material. The lower end of the column has a round bottom. The reservoirs range in capacity from 100 to 2000 mL.

This series of columns is available with inner diameters of 0.5 to 3.0 inches (13 to 75 mm) and lengths from 8 to 18 inches (20.3 to 45.7 cm).   Optional flow controllers (CG-1191) are available for flash chromatography use.

Additional sizes are available by special order. All columns are also available with an optional clear plastic coating (temperature range -20 to 140 °F) by special order.

The effective length listed in the product selection Size menu is the length of the the full-width column above the stopcock.
