Flow Control Adapters, 90 Degree, Teflon® Stopcock, Inner Joint

This adapter is used to regulate the flow of gases into a reaction system. For example, for reflux performed under an inert atmosphere, this adapter is placed at the top of the condenser and connected to the inert gas supply system (which is also equipped with a bubbler). Another common use is with single-neck flasks in order to pull a vacuum on the system. And on multi-neck flasks, this adapter is connected to an inert gas supply to permit counterflow operations at the other necks, providing the equivalent functionality of a Schlenk flask.

The Teflon® stopcock on this unit has a bore of 2 mm and is supplied complete. The hose connection has an O.D. of 8 mm at the middle serration. Available in 6 common joint sizes.
