- Lab Lattice Frame Foot, Brushed Aluminum or Stainless Steel
Product Description
These strong, durable lab-frame feet (flanges) accept rods up to 0.51" (13 mm) and are designed for mounting lab lattice frames permanently to bench tops, fume hoods, walls, and floors. Each one features a set screw and two countersunk mounting holes (mounting screws are not provided as these will depend on the user's application). These flanges are available in aluminum and Type 316 stainless steel (shown), both having a professional brushed (satin) finish.
Use these with unthreaded 1/2" (item # 22200) or 13 mm (item # 22205) aluminum, stainless steel, or fiberglass rods and our laboratory frame connectors (such as item # 22030 or item # AAP151) to create your own custom rack/lattice/frame system.
You may also wish to consider our nickel-plated zinc or electropolished stainless steel frame feet, item # 22010 as well as our economy-grade lattice frame foot, item # 22011.
For mounting threaded rods, see item #'s AAP103 and AAP104.
Our customer's ingenuity never ceases to amaze us. The folks at Dock & Marine Construction have used the SAP158 with some custom stainless steel rods as an elegant and minimalist solution for keeping seagulls from sitting on the handrails of their docks and fishing piers. By pulling and tensioning some monofilament fishing line between these assemblies, they can keep their rails gull-free using only a handful of uprights. Check it out:
