1/2" Laboratory Bench Rod Sockets, Surface Flanged

WaterSaver's AAP104 rod sockets provide a sleek and simple alternative to traditional ring stands or surface-mounted frame feet. These sockets mount permanently into the benchtop and permit one to simply screw a 1/2"-13 male-theaded rod into the socket to provide instant vertical support when needed. They are ideal for temporary needs such as classroom demonstrations and provide far superior support to laboratory ring stands, but are also great for permanent installation. The low-profile (3/16" = 5 mm) surface flange eliminates the need to for a counter-bored hole as is required for fully-recessed sockets.

These rod sockets are have a brushed aluminum finish and are manufactured in the USA. For a similar rod socket with a recessed flange which permits mounting flush with the benchtop see item # AAP103.

Use these rod sockets with AAP125 or SAP125 1/2" diameter threaded-end rods which are designed for vertical mounting.
