The Ohaus Explorer™ Analytical Balances are extremely accurate and durable, and are ideal for laboratory and industrial environments. The models have capacities of 120 g, 220 g or 320 g with a readability of 0.1 mg. The precision-machined, solid metal weighing cells coupled with Ohaus' signature AutoCal™ internal calibration system ensure accurate, reproducible measurements. Each unit features a detachable terminal with a large (5.7" diagonal), full-color VGA graphic display and icon-driven application software that features 14 unique application modes. All three models offer optional automatic doors (AD).

Typical application modes include weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, checkweighing, dynamic/animal weighing, filling, totalization/statistics, formulation, density determination, pipette adjustment and ingredient costing. Weigh displays include Gram, Milligrams, Kilogram, Newton, Pound, Ounce, Pound:Ounce (decimal or fractional), Ounce Troy, Pennyweight, Grain and Carat.

These balances have a metal base, ABS top housing, a 3.5" / 90 mm diameter stainless steel pan, anti-static glass draftshield with flip-top door, a replaceable in-use cover and are powered with an AC adaptor (included). Communication via RS232, USB Host, USB Device, optional Ethernet (accessory sold separately), GLP/GMP data output with real-time clock.
