Product Description
The Ohaus Compass™ CX Series portable compact scales are lightweight, portable scales perfectly suited for use in laboratory, industrial, education and home use applications. They are powered by 3 AA batteries (included) with 1,000 hour usage time or by the optional AC adapter.
These balances have a large 5.0" x 5.6" (128 x 142 mm) stainless steel weighing platform which is removable for easy cleaning. The large (0.71" / 18 mm) backlit display increases readability in low-light conditions and easier viewing from a distance. The slim design allows for stackable storage of up to four scales. Other standard features include ABS housing, slip-resistant feet, stability indicator, mechanical and software overload/underload protection, low battery indicator and auto shut-off.
The CX221, CX 621 and CX1201 have 220 gram, 620 gram and 1,200 gram capacity, respectively, with 0.1 g readability. The CX2200 and CX5200 have 2,200 g and 5,200 g capacities, respectively, with 1 g readability. Displays options vary with model but include grams, ounces, Newtons, and pounds + ounces.
