Socket Joints, Ground Glass

This is the socket member of a spherical joint and conforms to ASTM E677 standard dimensional requirements for interchangeability in spherical ground joints for ordinary laboratory and industrial applications. Like most of the other glassware in our catalog, this part is made from Schott Duran® glass or its equivalent.

Available in your choice of 12/2, 12/5, 18/7, 18/9, 28/12, 28/15, 35/20, 35/25, 30/30, 65/40, 75/50, and 102/75 size. The matching ball socket member is available as item # CG-120.  For a discussion of ball joint sizing, see the Joints entry in the Glassware Gallery.
