Outer Joints, Ground Glass, Standard Taper, Short Length

Like most of the other glassware in our catalog, these outer (female) ground glass joint are made from Schott Duran® glass or its equivalent.  The term "short length" refers to the length of the ground glass portion only, not the length of glass attached to the joint.  For example, 24 mm diameter standard taper joints are available in 24/40 (full), 24/26 (medium), and 24/12 (short) lengths.  For a discussion of standard taper joint sizing, see the Joints entry in the Glassware Gallery.
