Chromatography Columns w/ Spherical Upper Joint and Fritted Disc

These absorption chromatography columns can be used for rapid preparative separations with moderate resolution. Each has a Teflon® stopcock and a spherical top outer joint. The column is constructed using medium wall tubing for extra durability. It has a sealed COARSE porosity fritted disc to support the column packing material. The lower end of the column has a round bottom. The column can be used with optional CG-1201 flow controllers and CG-1200 reservoirs. Connections between the column, reservoir and flow control adapter are made with spherical joints connected with CG-150 stainless steel clamps

This series of columns is available with inner diameters of 0.5 to 3.0 inches (13 to 75 mm) and lengths from 8 to 24 inches (20.3 to 61.0 cm). Smaller bore columns have a 35/20 joint while larger columns, 2.5 and 3.0 inch diameter, have 50/30 and 75/50 joints respectively. Additional sizes are available by special order. All columns are also available with an optional clear plastic coating (temperature range -20 to 140 °F) by special order.

The effective length listed in the product selection Size menu is the length of the the full-width column above the stopcock.
