Description

This oil trap is installs between the pump and primary trap of a vacuum line and is designed for pumps that lack a "suck-back" valve to prevent oil from being drawn into the vacuum line when the pump is shut off and left under vacuum. In addition, the trap is fitted with a 0-4 mm Airfree™ valve to allow the equalization of pressure when the pump is shut down, making it possible to leave the line under vacuum without suck-back. The arms are 1" O.D. glass tubing for facile connection to heavy-wall vacuum tubing; secure with radiator/hose clamps available at any hardware store.
