Ohaus Incubating Heavy Duty Orbital Shaker, 23 kg

These Ohaus Incubating Heavy Duty Orbital Shakers are designed to incubate samples weighing up to 50 lb (22.7 kg) from 5 °C above ambient to 65 °C. The exclusive Opti-Flow Forced Ventilation System utilizes twin induction or a single large fan so that air is deflected around and not directly on samples, creating a circular flow of air ensuring uniformity. For repeatable results, the exclusive Accu-Drive shaking system ensures speed accuracy. The Triple Eccentric Drive provides consistent shaking motion throughout the entire speed range. All units have a temperature calibration feature, overload protection, temperature overshoot protection, road sensor and PID temperature controller.

The shaker can be run in conditions from 15 to 32 °C (59 to 90 °F), maximum 80% relative humidity, non-condensing and comes with a 2 year warranty.   Typical applications include cell cultures, solubility studies, bacterial suspensions and extraction procedures.

The interior dimensions of this unit (ISHD23HDG) are 17 x 20.6 x 24.8" (43.2 x 52.3 x 62.9 cm) with an interior tray that is 18 x 18” (45.6 x 45.7 cm). Its maximum weight capacity is 50 lb (22.7 kg) at 125 rpm or 10 lb (4.53 kg) at 500 rpm.  The chamber of this unit is large enough to hold 2 x 6 L Erlenmeyer flasks with optional clamps and platforms.
