Glas-Col Laboratory Magnetic Stirplate, 7.5" x 7.5" top

This Glas-Col stirplate features an exceptionally durable, chemically-resistant, 7.5" square, white, ceramic work surface.  Its space-efficient design makes it ideal for use on crowded bench tops and in fume hoods. These units easily accommodate typical borosilicate glass beakers, flasks, bottles and other vessels. Each unit has a 1" deep 1/2" wide socket with set screw that lets you insert a metal rod (not included) so there is no need to use a separate lab stand to support your apparatus.

These stirplates feature advanced microprocessor controls with convenient turn knobs for quick, precise adjustment and maintenance of stirring speed and a safety indicator LED on the front panel indicates when the stirrer has been activated. These units can stir between 60 and 1500 RPM, they draw a maximum of 500 watts at 120 V, and the shipping weight is 8 lb (3.63 kg).  Overall dimensions: 8" w x 9" d x 4.5" h.
