Product Description

These detectable reusable Portwest® EP07 ear plugs provide excellent hearing protection in any noisy environment but they are particularly recommended for use in food industry environments. They are made of a thermo-plastic rubber (TPR) that reacts to warmth so that they mold to the ear canal within a few minutes of wearing them. An advanced technique is used to add metal shavings into the TPR material during the injection process which makes them detectable to metal scans. The improved shape of the ear plug provides for increased comfort and better attenuation performance. They are corded for extra comfort, safe keeping and easy storage around the neck when not in use. Each pair comes inside a hygienic polybag that includes fitting instructions. They have an excellent attenuation rate and have a noise reduction rating (NRR) of 24 dB.
