Product Description
Trine's UL-listed, heavy-gauge aluminum grease filters feature sturdy double-frame construction and locking handles to keep them in place (locking mechanisms are required by law in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC). They have no plastic coatings to wear off, no mechanisms to jam, and are lightweight for easy handling. The seamless ridged baffles maximize grease extraction and may be cleaned by soaking, spraying, or placing in a dishwasher (test detergent first). These filters are self-draining and non-dripping, eliminating grease build-up while foods, utensils, and burner surfaces remain clean. They are UL listed and certified, NSF-approved, meet NFPA standards, are Fire Code compliant and are made in USA! A specification sheet for these filters is available for download.
These filters are specifically designed to replace the mesh style filters that are no longer acceptable as per NFPA 96, Vapor Removal from Cooking Equipment which states "Mesh filters shall not be used."
Ordering note: Height and width are not interchangeable. These filters can be installed in only one direction; double check your system's height and width requirements before ordering. Grease filters are installed with the baffles running vertically, so the height is the length in the same direction as the baffles. Air flow data is available for download. The actual height and width of all hood grease filters is 7/16" less than the nominal size listed.
These 1.75" thick filters are sold in cases of six in 20" x 20", 25"h x 20" w, and 20" h x 25" w (nominal); additional sizes are also available, please contact us to order those. These are also available in lower cost galvanized steel (item # 09972) and premium grade 304 stainless steel (item # 09973). Aluminum filters without locking handles are available as item # 09975.
