Brooks/Amerex Super D Class D Extinguisher Powder, 50 lb pail

This item is Brooks Equipment's private label brand of Amerex's Super D Class D extinguishing agent. Brooks is a master distributor for Amerex, and they simply put their label on the container. The Safety Data Sheet (see below) lists Amerex as the responsible party and manufacturer.

Amerex Super D is a sodium chloride-based Class D extinguishing agent suitable for refill of both Amerex model B570 (item # 09590) and model 680 (item # 09582) as well as Badger model WB570 (discontinued as of 2022) Class D fire extinguishers. It consists primarily of sodium chloride (NaCl) with anti-caking and free-flow agents. Metal fires involving magnesium alloys, uranium and powdered aluminum can be controlled and extinguished with this agent. Badger p/n 24124.

This material can also be applied with a scoop or shovel. 

Ansul Met-L-X (item # 09450) is a similar NaCl-based agent suitable for Ansul's Met-L-X extinguishers.

The shipping weight of this item is 54 pounds (24.5 kg) and there are 24 containers per pallet.
