Class 4 Dangerous When Wet DOT Shipping Labels, 500/roll

Shipping labels are essential for packages that contain dangerous goods. These D.O.T. shipping labels are designed to meet and comply with regulations and specifications under Title 49, Subtitle B, Chapter I, Subchapter C, Part 172 of the CFR.

Printed with fade resistant ink, these labels are available in paper for indoor applications and vinyl for extended outdoor use. The labels measure 4" x 4" and are sold 500/roll. For corresponding vehicle placards see item #03111.

TECHNICAL NOTE 2: In paragraph (c) of 49 CFR 173.124,  a Dangerous When Wet material (DOT Division 4.3)  is "a material that, by contact with water, is liable to become spontaneously flammable or to give off flammable or toxic gas at a rate greater than 1 L per kilogram of the material, per hour, when tested in accordance with UN Manual of Tests and Criteria."
