- Florida Roof Truss Signs
Product Description
These Florida truss signs are designed to comply with the requirements of Rule: 69A-60.0081 of the Florida Fire Prevention Code. The rule requires that any structure that uses llght-frame truss-type construction be marked with an approved symbol. Per the Code, truss roofs get an R marking, truss floor systems get an F marking, and buildings with both get an RF marking.
These signs are made of Engineer Grade prismatic material, the same material used on street signs. The aluminum signs are 0.040 thickness and have radius corners and 4 mounting holes. The vinyl signs are peel and stick. These signs measure 9” x 9” with the compliant Maltese symbol (8” x 8”).
Yes, we are aware the F-only signs have a higher price than the other two styles. It makes no sense, but that's a direct result of the manufacturer's pricing, sorry.
