Product Description
The Guardian Equipment G5018 is a wall mounted single-head drench hose that is activated by pressing a separate wall-mounted flag handle that says open until manually closed. The spray head is easily removed from the mounting bracket to rinse the eyes, face, body or even equipment. The G5016 is similar but is activated using an activation lever on the spray head itself. The G5014 is also similar but has two spray heads so it meets ANSI standards as an eyewash.

Application: Drench hose unit for wall mounting. Ideal for rinsing any part of user’s eye, face or body. Note: Under ANSI Z358.1 - 2014, drench hose units supplement, but do not replace, other types of emergency equipment. If you require eyewash protection, consider a two-head eyewash/drench hose combination unit instead. Spray Head: Single FS-Plus™ spray head. Spray head has “flip top” dust cover, internal flow control and filter to remove impurities from the water flow. Valve: 1/2" IPS chrome plated brass stay-open ball valve. Valve is US-made with chrome plated brass ball and Teflon® seals. Hose: 12' reinforced nylon retractable coiled hose. 180 PSI maximum working pressure. Supply: 3/8" NPT female inlet. Mounting: Bracket with spring clips holds unit on wall. Sign: ANSI-compliant identification sign, item # 250-006G. Quality Assurance: Unit is completely assembled and water tested prior to shipment. |
BP In-line dual check backflow preventer installed on inlet of hose. Note: Check with code authority for compliance with local plumbing code. DC Stainless steel dust cover for each spray head. VB In-line vacuum breaker for installation between valve and spray head. Application Note An optional G6020 thermostatic mixing valve (tempering unit) which precisely blends hot and cold water to deliver warm (tepid) water as provided by ANSI Z358.1-2014 may be required under your state or local plumbing codes.
