Oval CRLRST Recess Mounted, Ligature-Resistant Cabinets for Model 10J-ABC Fire Extinguishers, Powder-Coated Steel

These recess mounted ligature-resistant Fire Extinguisher Cabinets are specifically manufactured for use with Oval Model 10J-ABC low-profile fire extinguishers. The cabinet is designed to eliminate all potential points of attachment.  The sides, bottom and top of the frame are sloped and the corners are welded and ground smooth.  The cabinet has a solid door with keyed cylinder lock and without a handle. These cabinets fit into standard 3-5/8" (92 mm) partition wall, making them ideal for both new construction and retrofit applications.  Mounting hardware is not included.

Accessibility: When mounted, the cabinets project 5/8" (16 mm) from the wall surface complying with the maximum limit for protruding objects as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design, the International Building Code and ANSI/ICC ANSI A117.1.

Construction: The cabinet is fully welded 16 gauge cold rolled steel with a white powder coated finish. The tub is made of 22 gauge steel, also white powder coated. The cabinets are available in white red, and black.

Door: The 16 gauge steel door has a continuous steel piano hinge, a 1.25" (32 mm) trim, (2) self-adjusting roller catches, a black, plastic recessed handle and it opens 180°. The cabinet is reversible so the handle can be on either the left or right side.

Lettering: The cabinet is furnished without lettering however, the words "Fire Extinguisher" can be added for an extra charge. Lettering is available in red, white or black as a clear vertical decal, vertical die-cut letters or ascending die-cut letters.

Other cabinet styles include surface mounted, recess mounted, fire-rated recess-mounted and ligature-resistant surface mounted.
