90° Rod Connector and Clamp Holder, Half-Open Style

This connector holds two 1/2" rods firmly at 90° and is ideal for permanent installations of laboratory lattice frames or other support assemblies. The closed hole side slips over the rods while the half-open side allows for the addition, removal and adjustment of the second component. The clamp is set using the two included 1/4"-20 socket head set screws. These clamps are available in aluminum (shown here) and Type 316 stainless steel; the brushed (satin) finish provides elegant style and is an alternative design to our overlap-style Rod End Connectors (item # 22028).

A doubly closed version of this model that is ideal for use with permanent lattice installations where disassembly is not anticipated is available as item # AAP151.  

Another popular alternative that effects the same connection is our Laboratory Frame Connector (item # 22030) which has no protruding screws to snag on shirt sleeves, cords or equipment. And their completely open nature means that they will work more easily with scratched, nicked, bent, or painted rods than the model shown here has to be slid down the entire length of your rods.
