Ohaus Scout® STX Touchscreen Balances w/ 120 to 8,200 g Capacities

Product Description

The Ohaus Scout® STX series of balances are ideal for laboratory & industrial applications such as general weighing, parts counting, percent weighing, checkweighing, animal/dynamic weighing, totalization, density determination, mole weighing and display hold of the first or last stable weight. These balances feature an intuitive large (4.3 in / 109 mm), full-color VGA graphic touchscreen display with user-controlled brightness.

These rugged balances have an ABS housing and stainless steel pan. They run on the included AC power adapter or on 4 AA batteries (not included) and have a low battery indicator, auto-shutoff, auto tare, mechanical and software overload protection, and a span calibration mass (for models up to 620 g capacity). Each includes a security bracket, skid-resistant leveling feet, stability indicator, an up-front level indicator, a transportation lock to protect the load cell, and a weigh-below hook. Their stackable design with the optional stacking and storage cover (except for the 1 mg models which have a draft shield) makes them ideal for undergraduate teaching laboratories and field use. With the optional network connection kit, you can connect these balances to peripherals for printing and data collection.

These balances display weights in Gram, Kilogram, Carat, Newton, Ounce, Troy Ounce, Pennyweight, Pound, Pound:Ounce, and Grains.
