The Ohaus Starter series of electrodes provide accurate and precise measurements of pH, oxidation-reduction potential, conductivity, dissolved oxygen, and temperature. They are compatible with Ohaus's AquaSearcher and Starter Meters. The conductivity electrodes measure the total ionic concentration within a sample. They provide a a rapid and inexpensive method for determining the ionic strength of a solution which is necessary in a wide range of industries. A basic conductivity cell consists of a pair of electrodes that are placed n a sample. The ratio of the distance between the electrodes and their surface is the cell constant which is then related to the conductivity and concentration of the sample solutions.
The STCON3 IP67 conductivity electrode utilizes a 4-ring potentiometric method that incorporates a series of four stainless steel rings formed into the probe shaft. This design eliminates polarization and electrolysis so that a wider range of conductivity values can be measured. It has a 130 mm plastic shaft with a removable guard, a 3 m cable and a CTW connector. It is compatible with Ohaus's ST400M Portable Meter.
The STCON3 has the same design but uses a Mini-DIN connection making it compatible with Ohaus's AquaSearcher meters.

WARNING: OHAUS products can expose you to chemicals including the chemicals listed in this Table, which are known to the State of California to cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. These and other Proposition 65 chemicals may be present only in residual amounts, or contained internally in OHAUS equipment, or encapsulated in another material where exposure is unlikely or negligible. This warning is being provided out of an abundance of caution. |
