Product Description
These scaffold inspection tags help workers comply with the OSHA Scaffolding Standard, 29 CFR 19126.451 paragraph (f)(3) requirement that "scaffolds and scaffold components shall be inspected for visible defects by a competent person before each work shift, and after any occurrence which could affect a scaffold's structural integrity."
These 7.625" h x 3.25" w (19.4 x 8.3 cm) tags are ideal for use with our Scaffold Tag Holder item # 12251. Made of rigid plastic these tags are high-strength, tear-resistant, weather-resistant, and chemical-resistant for dirty and greasy environments. 15-mil thick rigid polyethylene, relatively bendable and ideal for indoor and outdoor temporary tagging applications. Mar-resistant, matte surface.
The front of these red double-sided tags have text of "Scaffold Inspection. Danger! Do Not Use" including spaces for the job location, date erected, and status amongst other information. The back of the tag has header text of "Scaffold Inspection. This scaffold must be inspected by a competent person to ensure CFR compliance. It is unlawful to remove or interfere with this tag." It includes graphic of a hand indictaing stop within an octagon surrounded by the words "STOP UNSAFE FOR USE."
