Eagle DOT Transport Safety Cans, Type II w/ Pour Spout, 5 gallon

This Eagle Type II style Safety Can helps reduce the danger of explosion while dispensing flammable liquids through a flexible metal spout. The can has double-walled brass flame arrestors in the filler opening and pour spout. Heavy duty roll bars protect both spouts and a thumb screw mechanism assures that the filler opening stays closed while being transported. Available with a 7/8" or 5/8" O.D. spout in red (for gasoline) or yellow (for diesel).  These cans are FM, UL, and ULC approved and meet OSHA and NFPA Code 30 requirements. Compliance: OSHA 29 CFR 1910.106, 1925.152 and NFPA Code 30 - UN/DOT-1A1/Y1.2/100/08/USA/M4990/0.6mm.

Additional Type-I and Type-II safety cans in a variety of materials and sizes are also available. Type I cans feature 1 opening and Type II cans like this one have two openings, one for dispensing and one for pressure relief.
