Designed for on-the-spot classification of potentially hazardous materials, these 10" National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) Diamond Placards are easy to install and customize.  They are printed with the proper color coding, using UV stable inks.  The numbers and symbols can be written directly on the placard or individual pre-printed number and character hazard panels can be used, (item # 01266).

These placards are available in five materials:

  • Adhesive Vinyl: flexible vinyl with acrylic adhesive that adheres to almost any flat surface, a non-glare printed surface, moisture resistant,service temperature range from -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C)
  • Adhesive Dura-Vinyl: flexible poly-composite material with a UV rotective laminate that is resistant to abrasions, chemicals, solvents, and fading from sunlight, permanent, acrylic adhesive back with a peel-off liner that adheres to smooth, curved, and irregular surfaces, service temperature range from -40 to 176°F (-40 to 80°C).
  • Magnetic Vinyl: magnetic ferrite particles embedded in 20-mil synthetic rubber with a UV protective coating, resists cracking and chopping, flexible to mount on curved surfaces, service temperature range from 0 to 160°F (-18 to 71°C), ideal for frequent channing of signs on vehicles, tanks, or any other ferrous metal surface
  • Dura-Plastic™: Semi-rigid polycarbonate material , protected by Sign Muscle™, resists abrasion, humidity abd chemicals, UV resistance for 7 years, service temperature range from -50 to 190°F (-45 to 88°C)
  • Aluminum: protected by Sign Muscle™, withstands splashes and wash downs while resisting chemicals, abrasions, and abuse, endures outdoor environments, never rusts, UV resistance for 5 years, service temperature range from -40 to 250°F (-40 to 121°C)

  • Placard Kit that includes: (1) blank placard, (15) numbers (3 sets of 0-4), (7) specific-Hazard symbols (use no water, oxidizer, simple asphyxiant, RadiationHazard, Corrosive, Acid and Alkali), (1) NFPA Wallet Guide.
