Product Description
This model was discontinued by Guardian Equipment in 2023. The recommended replacement is the G1780 which is identical to the G1782 but has a stainless steel valve instead of a PVC-coated brass valve that was featured on this model.
The Guardian Equipment G1782 is an constructed entirely of PVC and PVC-coated brass for superior corrosion resistance. The G1786 is a pedestal-mounted all-PVC version of this model. The G1792 is similar but uses four GS-Plus™ spray heads to cover the eyes and face; the G1892 is also all-PVC but has only two GS-Plus™ which wash the eyes only. Guardian also makes a number of stainless steel eyewashes such as the G1781 wall-mounted unit.
SHIPMENT NOTE: This product is relatively fragile and Guardian prefers to ship this rather compact/lightweight item as freight to prevent damage in transit. Application: Eye/face wash for wall mounting. Constructed entirely in PVC and PVC-coated brass. Ideal for use in industrial environments where harsh acids or caustics are present. Two large FS-Plus™ spray-type outlet heads deliver a flood of water for rinsing eyes and face. Spray Head Assembly: Two FS-Plus™ spray heads. Each head has a “flip top” dust cover, internal flow control and filter to remove impurities from the water flow. Valve: 1/2" IPS PVC-coated brass stay-open ball valve. Valve is US-made with chrome plated brass ball and Teflon® seals. Bowl: 11-3/4" diameter orange ABS plastic. Mounting: Heavy duty PVC wall bracket. Supply: 1/2" NPT female inlet. Waste: 1 1/2" socket weld female outlet. Sign: ANSI-compliant identification sign, item # 250-007G. Quality Assurance: Unit is completely assembled and water tested prior to shipment. |
GRN Green ABS plastic bowl. HS Auxiliary hand-held drench hose for rinsing eyes, face or body. YEL Yellow ABS plastic bowl. Application Note An optional G6020 thermostatic mixing valve (tempering unit) which precisely blends hot and cold water to deliver warm (tepid) water as provided by ANSI Z358.1-2014 may be required under your state or local plumbing codes.

All Guardian items are manufactured in the USA. This item ships in a box approximately 16" x 15" x 14" (41 x 38 x 36 cm) weighing approximately 8 pounds (3.6 kg); however it generally ships as freight - see the note in the second paragraph (above).
