Description

Claisen adapters are a classic and convenient way of adding another outlet to a single neck flask. For example, to add material to a flask while maintaining reflux, one places the adapter on the reactant flask and connects the upper two joints to a reflux condenser and an addition funnel.  These Claisen adapters have standard taper joints on both top arms and the lower inner joint. All three joints are the same size.

Alternatives to Claisen adapters include two-neck flasks as well as Schlenk flasks.
