GT31 Stirring System w/ Dual Shaft and 1/40 Horsepower Motor

The GT31 is an improved version of the standard dual-shaft stirring system that has been a favorite with chemists and lab technicians everywhere. It has a totally enclosed, 1/40 hp, permanent-magnet motor with two output shafts. The armature shaft provides high speeds for mixing light materials, while the geared shaft generates higher torque at slower speeds for stirring more viscous mixtures. Continuously variable speed control included.

This system is furnished complete with motor and mounting bracket, controller, and the following accessories:

• 3-jaw keyless chuck (item# 21055-A).
• 8.75" stainless steel 3-bladed paddle (item# 21045-A).
• 8.75" stainless-steel 3-bladed propeller (item# 21042-A).
• Right angle clamp (item# 21060).

Stand sold separately (stirrer is shown here with the recommended item# 21057 stand). The controller lab bench case measures 8" w x 6" d x 3.38" h. The motor bracket is 4.38" x 4.38" d x 5.5" h with an 8.5" rod. Foxtip gray and charcoal finish.

Maximum RPM is 333/4,000 (12:1 gearing). Maximum torque is 3.6/0.25 lb-in (4.2/0.3 kg-cm, 0.4/0.03 Nm). Product weight: 17 lb (7.71 kg).
