Recharge Adapter For Water, Wet Chemical, and AR-AFFF Foam Handheld Fire Extinguishers

This brass recharge/pressurization adapter fits a number of water and foam extinguishers by Amerex, Ansul, Badger, General, Pem All, Strike, Stop Fire, Buckeye, Flag, Power-Pak, and RC Industries. The threading of the female side of the adapter (the one without the O-ring) is 3/8" x 24 tpi. We don't have the threading on the other end, but that's the one that fits the extinguisher.

Unlike Ansul's Sentry water extinguisher (item # 09622), Badger water (item # 09624) and foam (item # 09500) extinguishers do not have a separate Schrader-style pressurization valve (similar to that on a car or bike tire). To pressurize a Badger unit, one removes the discharge hose and fits this adapter (when Badger supplied, that's part # 04795) to the exit side of the main valve. While slightly less convenient, this configuration eliminates an extra valve as well as a potential source of leakage.
