Two Piece Emergency Key Box w/ Breakable Front Window, 4" diameter

These durable key boxes are a 2-piece design featuring a red ABS plastic box with a unique snap-on printed polystyrene cover that says BREAK GLASS FOR KEY and provides easier access in an emergency. Once the front window is snapped on, the key can only be removed by breaking the window. The box includes an interior hook to make the key plainly visible. It's the perfect accessory for fire extinguisher cabinets or emergency personnel access to secured areas. Replacement windows are available separately.

The overall diameter is 4" (102 mm) and overall depth with the cover installed is 1.5". The usable depth with the cover installed is approximately 1-1/4".  If you need a larger keybox, consider our all-metal keybox, item # 09434, which is large enough to hold an EpiPen®.

These boxes can accommodate standard size credit cards, so you can use these for access keycards as well as regular keys. The Break Glass Hammer (item #09790) or the red FireTech hammer (item # 09423-R) makes a handsome and useful addition to this key box.

This item is not designed to be weather-tight, so we recommend it for indoor use only.
