Push Button Safety Cover Lockout Devices

Guard against accidental or unauthorized activation with these emergency stop safety covers. These units install permanently over push/pull or twist-release emergency stops. The clear hinged cover can be kept open for easy access when not in use. When closed, it completely covers the button, preventing access. The cover can be locked closed with a padlock having a shackle diameter of 5/16" or less.

The 30 mm cover is made of tough Lexan and measures 1.57" w x 1.42" h.  The 22.5 mm cover is made of metal with a clear Lexan window and measures 2.3" long x 1.46" w x 1.34" h.  If you need more height on your covers, take a look at item # 07149.  This item is available in two styles: NEMA 30.5 mm (see Technical Data Sheet) and IEC 20.5 mm (see Technical Data Sheet).

These covers mount to a control panel by removing the existing switch locking nut, slipping the lockout device over the switch bushing, and then reinstalling and tightening the locking nut until the switch and cover are firmly locked against the panel. No screws or glue are required.
