Product Description
November 17, 2024 - Both sizes continue to experience a prolonged backorder with uncertain resolution. This has been an issue for a YEAR at this point. We are taking orders and will fill them in order of placement when stock becomes available. Your card will not be charged until the product ships, of course.
Guardian's G1540BA-R Aquasep might be a suitable alternative for some applications. Each 8 oz bottle contains a solution of chlorhexidine digluconate and propylene glycol which can preserve up to 20 gallons of eye wash water for up to 6 months; sold 4 bottles per case.
Eyesaline® concentrate is used to make up saline flushing solution for various portable eyewashes. Eyesaline® is pH balanced and contains a preservative to inhibit bacterial growth and reduce the chances of infections. This concentrate is available in 70 and 180 ounce bottles and has a shelf life of approximately 2.5 years if properly stored and unopened.
For use, mix ten parts potable water with one part of this concentrate. The 70 ounce bottle makes 770 ounces (6 gallons) of eyewash solution and the 180 ounce bottle makes 1,980 ounces (15.5 gallons) which can be stored for up to six months in this diluted form.
If you don't require saline but just want to ensure the water in your portable eye wash is kept free of pathogens, a more economical alternative is Guardian Equipment's G1540BA, a single small bottle of which will preserve up to 20 gallons of water.
This product was formerly a Sperian brand. Honeywell purchased Sperian in 2010 and has since rebranded Eyesaline® as a Honeywell as well as Fend-all product.
