Item #: 09780-C Verification of Service Collars, 2-1/8" Inner Diameter, Blue
These verification of service collars (also known as "maintenance and recharge service collars" under proposed NFPA changes) meet the NFPA 10 standard for portable fire extinguishers. They are used to indicate the date of the last disassembly of the extinguisher (for servicing, hydrostatic testing or other maintenance) and can only be installed with the valve assembly removed. These collars have twelve months and FOUR years which can be punched to indicate the date of last service. Sold by the package only.
Four different sizes are available (as shown on the left) with inner diameters of 1-3/8", 1-3/4", 2-1/8", and 3-1/16".
