| The BPLsolaris is a UL 924-listed photoluminescent EXIT sign certified for use at a distance of 75 feet after 90 minutes of total darkness. No bulbs, batteries, maintenance, radioactivity, toxicity, electricity, or accompanying pollution! The signs are UV-stable, durable, and manufactured from high-grade fire-resistant polymer. Indoor use only. These signs require a minimum 5 foot-candle (54 lux) external unfiltered fluorescent, metal halide, or mercury vapor illumination on the sign face at all times of building occupancy. For installation locations where lighting is not assured (for example, where motion sensors control the lights) use an LED sign instead. These signs have been tested and listed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. in accordance with UL 924 and complies with NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, NFPA 5000, JCAHO, OSHA , ICC - IBC, ICBO - UBC, BOCA - NBC, SBCCI - SBC, 1/UFC, California Building Code, New York Building Code and ASTM 2072. They include a 15 year non-transferrable warranty covering defects in material or workmanship and have a life expectancy of over 25 years. The lettering is a 7/8" stroke with a 6.5" height. Two self-adhesive left/right directional chevrons are included if needed for your installation. This item is available in red or green in English or Spanish. Mounting options include a backless aluminum frame suitable for wall, ceiling, flag, surface, or low location mounting (see below for colors and options). |
