Glas-Col Laboratory Magnetic Stirring Hotplate, 7.5" x 7.5" top

This Glas-Col combination magnetic stirrer and hotplate features an exceptionally durable, chemically-resistant, 7.5" square, white, ceramic work surface.  Its space-efficient design makes it ideal for use on crowded bench tops and in fume hoods. These units easily accommodate typical borosilicate glass beakers, flasks, bottles and other vessels. Each unit has a 1" deep 1/2" wide socket with set screw that lets you insert a metal rod (not included) so there is no need to use a separate lab stand to support your apparatus.

These stirplates feature advanced microprocessor controls with convenient turn knobs for quick, precise adjustment and maintenance of stirring speed and heating. Safety indicator LED's on the front panel indicate when the stirrer or heater has been activated. These units can stir between 60 and 1500 RPM, have an operating temperature range of + 5 to 380 °C (4 to 716 °F), draw a maximum of 500 watts at 120 V, and the shipping weight is 10 lb (4.54 kg).
